I qualified from Guys Hospital University of London forty years ago. I moved to New Zealand 22 years ago and have enjoyed working in Belmont for the past sixteen years. I really enjoy treating the community mostly from the North Shore and although my background is in Maxilofacial Surgery, I wanted to provide a preventative modern dental practice.
I have a wonderful twenty two year old son and both of us are so happy and grateful to call New Zealand home. I am very involved with sports teams and also enjoy quiet time out yauchting with my partner David and my beautiful Golden Retriever, Benji.
I am committed to improving my skills and attend many seminars, lectures to ensure I provide the best care I can to the patients of my practice.

Des has two beautiful children and has a strong interest in health, nutrition and well being.
